What Social Media Conversations Are Missing? What You Need to Know Is Available Here

What Types of Social Media Conversations Aren’t Being Had? Look through your feed. You see a lot of different ways to think about public perception, but all of them are missing one thing. With social media in every part of our lives, likely, it will never go away at any point in the future. Is there anything else you want to know?

Before I tell you what I think is missing from social media, let’s think about how many use it and what we need to change. Even though there is no way to cover every single way, I believe that most of us fall into a few broad groups.

Social Media Conversations About Politics

There is always a post about what the government does wrong, how the President is this or that, or how someone else did this or that and ruined the country by their decisions. In the era of Trump, the ends looked more and more different as time went on. Let’s face it: Even though he’s been out of office for more than a year, the guy is still making the rounds on social media.

The Sad Person

This person always picks the wrong side of things. Almost all the time, they’re sick, hurting, or in the middle of a big fight or fight. It’s these people who want you to know everything about their illnesses, show them in their hospital beds, and figure out how much you should feel bad for them. Oh, the sad ones.

The Tough Guy on the Internet

These people want to fight. They will troll you, post things that make you angry, and they will fight with you. Their whole life seems to be at odds with the world, and they won’t be afraid to tell you about it. They can be bullies, but sometimes they think they are right to defend a position. What might you want to know? Doesn’t bother them.

The Perfect

Those are the best ones. Their kids go to college, and their cars don’t get dirty. Some of us are more successful than others. They have better jobs than us. They go to better parties and hang out with more successful people. The best people are always on the move, always smiling, and always eat the best food. This is how it works: It’s true, these people are great!

The Troll

No, I don’t know what trolls are. Trolls act a lot like the internet tough guy, but they go a little further. You don’t want to be like these people. They will call girls fat, and they will call guys weak. There isn’t a lot we know about them, and they’ll always find a way to make you feel bad about yourself. The troll is well-known, and it’s hard to get rid of. It’s likely to stay there for a long time.

Which of these are you? You have to fit into all of them or none of them. Is it possible that you’re not one of the people above? Ask your friends to tell you how they would describe your social media use, and find out what they think. No, of course not. These are just a few of the most popular ones.

Social Media Conversations

Is there a critical element that isn’t there? You’d be right to wonder about it if you’ve read this far! It’s effortless. I think more people should use it every day. It’s here:

Do you know this? You’re right about that.

So many times, we know we aren’t right. We know that we are exaggerating, we are being mean, and we know that we are wrong about something we are talking about. It’s not that we don’t want to be decent people who have a little humility. Instead, we dig in our heels and try to win a fight with a stranger. Or even worse, we try to fight with the people we love. How stupid is that?

What if we slowed down a little and said we were wrong? What kind of world would we live in? A more forgiving world: What kind of world would we make if things were a little more compassionate? I think things would be better if more people tried their best in my head. We might even learn something or two about the world around us.

Because it will take time, but isn’t it worth a try?
